Eight rescued from roller coaster at US amusement park

UPDATE @ 10.00am: All passengers have been rescued after becoming trapped on a roller coaster in the US.

The Silver Bullet ride at Frontier City in Oklahoma stopped suddenly while 100 feet in the air on Wednesday afternoon.

Seven children and one adult have since been rescued.

Despite being stranded in scorching hot heat for over an hour, there have been no reports of any injuries.

EARLIER @ 8.45am: An emergency rescue is currently underway to help free eight people stuck on a roller coaster in the US.

The Silver Bullet ride at Frontier City in Oklahoma stopped suddenly while 100 feet in the air on Wednesday afternoon.

Local media are reporting 7 of the passengers stranded on the ride are children.

Emergency services are currently at the scene. There are no reports of any injuries.
