A man has been bashed while collecting cans in Adelaide.
The 81-year-old is in a serious condition in hospital after he was punched over and over in the head and face by two men on Sunday evening.
Senior Constable Mick Abbott told the ABC they have received detailed descriptions of the offenders from witnesses.

“We’ve arrested a 39-year-old man from Munno Para West and a 37-year-old man from Pennington and they’ve been charged with aggravated assault causing harm.”
The ABC reported that Cafe owner Phil Bayley said the victim was well known in the seaside community.
He had been collecting along the grassy foreshore at Semaphore when he was set upon. His alleged attackers will face court on Monday.
