TWO people are fighting for their life in hospital today following a horror two-car crash in the NSW Southern Tablelands.
Police said an MG sedan and a Nissan Pulsar hatchback were travelling north towards Sydney along the Hume Highway north of Goulburn when they collided at the intersection of Towrang Road around 2.40pm on Saturday.
The 66-year-old male driver of the MG and his 87-year-old female passenger were treated by paramedics at the scene before being rushed by ambulance to Goulburn Base Hospital, both with life-threatening injuries.

They were later transported to Canberra Hospital where they remain today in a critical condition.
The 29-year-old woman behind the wheel of the Nissan miraculously escaped uninjured. She too was taken to Goulburn Base Hospital where she was subjected to mandatory blood and urine testing.
The crash site was declared a crime scene and examined by the Crash Investigation Unit.
