Elderly man busted drink driving after crashing, rolling car
A 70-year-old man has been caught drink-driving after crashing into a parked car and rolling his vehicle in Sydney overnight.
Shortly before 6.30pm, the elderly man was driving his car along Essendon Street when he failed to negotiate a bend in the road.
Police say the man allegedly hit the back of a parked car, causing his vehicle to roll.
The man managed to escape uninjured, however he was arrested after returning a positive roadside breath test.
He was taken to Fairfield Police Station where he returned a reading of 0.117.
The man was charged with driving with the mid-range prescribed concentration of alcohol and is due to face Fairfield local court in July.
