Police seeking dash-cam footage after man killed in crash north of the coast

Queensland Police are appealing for witnesses after an elderly man was killed in a crash at Logan Village, north of the Gold Coast last week.

Emergency services were called to Albert Street around 10.00am on Tuesday, August 29 after a van and truck collided near the intersection of Anzac Avenue.

The driver of the van, an 81-year-old man from Logan Village, was rushed to the Princess Alexandra Hospital where he later died.

Police are now appealing for anyone who may have dash cam footage of the crash to come forward.

The Forensic Crash Unit are investigating.
