Elderly man stabbed in pub attack

AN elderly man has been rushed to hospital in a serious condition after being stabbed at a pub in Sydney.

Police have swarmed the Camelia Grove Hotel at Alexandria following the attack on Saturday afternoon.

It’s understood an 85-year-old man was stabbed in the chest at the Henderson Street hotel just before 3pm.


The victim was treated by paramedics at the scene before being rushed to hospital in a serious condition.

Police have been told the elderly man was stabbed by a man known to him, who fled the scene.

A crime scene has been established and police have saturated the area in search for the offender.
