Elderly woman dies weeks after crash on Sunshine Coast
An elderly woman has lost her fight for life, after she was involved in a car accident on the Sunshine Coast.
Investigations indicate at about 11am June 1, a station wagon travelling south along Nambour Connection Road and a sedan travelling west along Yandina Bli Bli Road collided.
The sedan had failed to give way at that intersection.
The woman who was a passenger in the sedan was transported to Nambour General Hospital with serious injuries, but died from her injuries on Thursday.
The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
