An elderly woman is in a serious but stable condition in hospital, after she was hit by a car on the Gold Coast last night.
Emergency services rushed to Labrador around 6.20 pm, following reports of the incident.
It’s understood the woman, aged in her 70s, was walking near Proud Street and Whiting Street when she was struck by a passing car.

She was assessed for multiple injuries, including to her abdomen, pelvis and leg, and had to be taken to hospital for further treatment.
She’s in a serious but stable condition at the Gold Coast University Hospital this morning.
