AN elderly woman and a teenage boy are in hospital following two separate incidents on the Gold Coast.
The woman aged in her 70s had to be treated by paramedics after the car she was driving ploughed into a garage at a home in Clear Island Waters just before 3pm.
She was transported in a stable condition by ambulance to the Pindara Private Hospital at Benowa.

Meanwhile, a teenage boy also had to be treated by paramedics after he was struck by a car on the corner of Cotlew Street and Yangoora Crescent at Ashmore around 3.30pm.
He was taken by ambulance to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
