Big news in the entertainment world, with Ellen DeGeneres confirming that she will wrap up her talk show.
The mega TV host announced that the show will come to an end at the end of next year, just one year shy of 20 years on air.
It comes just months after accusations that the Ellen Show was a toxic place to work.

An internal investigation was carried out, multiple senior producers were given the sack, and DeGeneres opened her 18th season with a lengthy on-air apology to all those affected.
It’s understood the allegations had nothing to do with her wrapping up the show.
DeGeneres spoke exclusively to The Hollywood Reporter about the announcement, saying she just needs a new challenge.
“When you’re a creative person, you constantly need to be challenged — and as great as this show is, and as fun as it is, it’s just not a challenge anymore,” she said.
The show will end with Ellen having completed a massive 3,000 episodes, including 2,400 celebrity interviews.
