They say there will only ever be one Elvis, but this weekend in Surfers Paradise there will be more Elvises than you can handle at the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest.
An initiative of the Surfers Paradise Alliance and presented by the Hotel Grand Chancellor, the annual Viva Surfers Paradise festival features the Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest, bringing to the stage 14 of the best Elvis performers from around Australia, battling it out for a spot in the Memphis Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist contest held in the USA.
The 14 Elvis Tribute Artists will be singing, dancing and charming their way through three heats of performances on Saturday and Sunday, with the winner of the competition, judged by six judges, announced at 5.30pm on Sunday July 20.

Surfers Paradise Alliance CEO Mike Winlaw says this weekend is the perfect time to head to Surfers and join in the fun, and the free G-Link light rail to one of three Surfers Paradise stations is the perfect way to get there.
This weekend will also see one of the world’s leading Elvis performers, Chris Connor, shake, rattle and roll with Elvis fans during his performances on Friday and Saturday nights.
