It’s been a long few months, but the biopic ‘Elvis’ will resume filming on the Gold Coast today.
Stars Tom Hanks and Austin Butler will be among those filming at Village Roadshow Studios.
Hanks has just returned from the United States, coming out of his mandatory hotel quarantine yesterday.

He was spotted at Pacific Fair by fans in the afternoon.
While it’s understood Austin Butler has remained on the Gold Coast since coronavirus shut down the set back in March.
He was spotted various times around Broadbeach throughout the year.
The production had to be shut down due to Tom Hanks himself testing positive to coronavirus back in March.
He and his wife Rita Wilson were taken care of in the Gold Coast University Hospital, and then quarantined at a hotel in Broadbeach, before they returned to the United States.
Cameras begin rolling again from today, with the production set to bring around $100 million into our economy.
