Emergency crews race to rescue paraglider stuck in tree near Mt Tamborine
A delicate rescue operation is currently underway to try and retrieve a paraglider who has become stuck in a tree at Wonglepong, near Mt Tamborine.
It’s unknown what caused the paraglider to land in the tree, however conditions in the area are extremely windy today.
Emergency crews including a rescue chopper are at the scene.
The man is believed to have been clinging to the tree for almost an hour now.
The extent of his injuries, if any, remain unclear.
