Emergency crews rush to M1 after car flips at Yatala

UPDATE: A MAN has been taken to hospital after rolling his car on the M1 at Yatala this morning.

He suffered a seatbelt injury and pelvic pain and being trapped in the vehicle for some time.

He was transported to the Logan Hospital in a stable condition.

EARLIER: EMERGENCY services are rushing to the M1 this morning after a car flipped, leaving one person trapped in the vehicle.

The accident happened just before 7.30am at the Yatala South exit (Exit 41).

Initial reports suggest one person is trapped in the vehicle and fire services have been called to cut them free.

Queensland Ambulance crews are also on their way.

The accident doesn’t appear to be causing too many delays at this stage but motorists are been urged to avoid the area as a precaution.
