Emergency services block off Gold Coast street after nasty car crash
Motorists are being warned of a few delays in Mudgeeraba, after a nasty crash through there late this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene along Gold Coast Springbrook Road just after 11.00am, following reports of a single car crash.
On arrival, a man of unconfirmed age, was found trapped in a vehicle.
Queensland Fire and Emergency services helped extricate him, before paramedics performed a brief assessment.
The man had luckily escaped serious injury, and was taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
Meantime, Queensland Traffic has warned that both directions of Gold Coast Springbrook Road have had to be closed between Tarrant Drive and Hardys Road.
Motorists are being warned to expect delays.
