Multi car crash causes chaos near Dreamworld
A multi-vehicle crash has sparked traffic chaos outside Dreamworld on the Gold Coast.
It’s understood the accident happened at the roundabout entrance to the Coomera theme park shortly after 7.30pm.
Details remain sketchy, though it’s believed a utility exiting the park was t-boned upon entering the roundabout from Dreamworld Parkway.
One local towing company said early reports suggested as many as 10 vehicles were involved in a subsequent nose-to-tail pile-up.
A Dreamworld employee told myGC she saw six police cars and two fire trucks race towards the scene, while another said she saw four damaged cars.
It remains unclear how many people, if any, have been injured.
There is no further information available at this time.
