UPDATE: Police have revoked an emergency situation declared in Upper Coomera this morning.
The emergency situation was revoked at 11.40am after an item was left at a service station on Abraham’s Road.
The item has since been declared non-suspicious and all roads have re-opened.

EARLIER: Police have declared an emergency situation in Upper Coomera following the discovery of a suspicious item at a service station.
The emergency situation was declared at 11am after a suspicious item was discovered in the petrol station located on Abraham’s Road.
The service centre also serves as a major truck stop in the area.
Emergency Service workers are attending the scene.
A cordon is in place on Abraham Road to the west, Ansett Way to the south, and the M1 Service Road to the east.
The M1 northbound and southbound remain unaffected.
Motorists have been advised to avoid the area.
