UPDATE 6:58PM | Scientific Officers from the Queensland Fire and Rescue Service have given a powder, found at the Post Office inside Treetops Plaza at Burleigh Waters on Wednesday afternoon, the all clear.
They say the substance is non toxic, after assessing around eight people at the scene.
The all clear finally given shortly before 7:00PM. All staff have been allowed to go home.

EARLIER 6:19PM | A Burleigh Waters Post Office remains in lock down on Wednesday night, more than three hours after a suspicious substance was found.
The discovery, at the Post Office at Treetops Plaza on Classic Way at around 3:00PM, put the business into lockdown with all staff forced to stay inside.
There are no exact details on what form the substance takes or if it was sent in a parcel.
Paramedics are checking everyone and have just released two people.

Two teams of firefighters went to the scene after the alarm was raised, while QFES Scientific Crews only arrived a short time ago.
