It’s the end of an era – One of our all-time favourite summer treats has been discontinued.
In an announcement sure to upset nearly every Aussie brought up in the 90s, a spokesperson has confirmed Sunnyboy’s will no longer be available to purchase.
“The Daily Juice Co can confirm that we have regrettably had to make the hard decision to stop production of the icy treat, Sunnyboy, as of August 2016,” the company said.

“Unfortunately, Sunnyboy has experienced a sustained reduction in consumer demand over a long period of time, making it necessary to delete the product from our range of water ice treats.”
The ice blocks, which were available in different flavours including Glug Cola, Orange Explosion, Razz Raspberry and Zap Lime, were always the go-to on a 35 degree day.
It’s safe to say this Summer is going to be very, very different…
