Former NRL star Anthony Watts has been sentenced over a fight at a Gold Coast wedding two years ago.
Watts appeared in the Southport Magistrates Court on Friday where he pleaded guilty to one count of assault occasioning bodily harm.
The 32-year-old allegedly kneed a man in the chest, head and stomach at a wedding he attended with his girlfriend in Mudgeeraba on 19 August, 2016.

The victim received treatment at Robina Hospital following the assault.
Today, the former North Queensland Cowboys, Cronulla Sharks and Sydney Roosters player was sentenced to three months prison to be suspended for two years.
He was also ordered to pay $5000 in compensation.
