The Brickworks centre is set to host the Gold Coast’s ultimate gourmet pop-up picnic this Sunday, with the hugely popular Inside Out festival making a return.
The free, all-ages event, will feature an eclectic array of street food along with plenty of options to wet the whistle, vibrant live music performed by talented local musicians and plenty of lively attractions spread throughout the precinct.
Guests can take part in kids’ workshops and yoga classes, or get their culture fix on with art exhibitions, cooking demonstrations and fashion shows featuring collections from popular local designer Lisa Brown.

The Gourmet Eats & Drinks hub will showcase every taste from rustic bakery treats and artisan cheese to spectacular salads, poke bowls and fresh seafood, while pop-up bars will quench festival thirsts with Aperol, Asahi and Veuve premium bubbles.
At the award-winning Ferry Rd Markets, guests can sample beautiful flavours from Providore, The Standard Market Company, The Source Bulk Foods and The Tea Centre.
The men will love the Stone and Wood Beer Garden at Salt Café Bar, an area dedicated to ‘Beers, Beards & Beats’ with flowing craft beer, Lost Boys Barber Beard Cuts, and a mix of DJ beats all day until late.
Kid central is the Play Patch, an interactive space featuring Hurley Burley toys, face painting, a live magician and complimentary Quench ice cream.
More family fun can be found in the craft alleyway, with a colourful assortment of free creative workshops hosted by Fleurus and The Craft Parlour, including flower crown making and pom pom tote bag creations. The Craft Alleyway is licensed, allowing parents to sip on a beverage from the bar while enjoying some quality creative time with the kids.
Culinary types can savour a series of free cookery demonstrations in the Miele Experience Centre. Normally valued at $90 per person, the three 45-minute sessions will take participants on an exploration of seafood, Sous Vide and divine desserts while serving up delicious samples along the way.
Inside Out guests will also have the chance to win an $8000 home style pack from high-end furniture store Max Sparrow on the day.
Brickworks Centre brand manager Georgia Dal Broi said Inside Out was an opportunity for Gold Coast residents and visitors alike to discover the diverse offering of the centre.

“Guests can expect a party for their palette, with a selection of pop-up food stalls and bars, tantalising Ferry Rd Market sampling stations, and beer and wine tastings, while little ones will find a haven of fun with face painting, magic shows and even free ice cream at our Play Patch.
“Inside Out is truly an interactive adventure for all the senses, and a great family Sunday out exploring the Brickworks Centre from the inside out,” she said.
