Explore the Brickworks Centre from Inside Out this weekend

The Brickworks centre is set to host the Gold Coast’s ultimate gourmet pop-up picnic this Sunday, with the hugely popular Inside Out festival making a return.

The free, all-ages event, will feature an eclectic array of street food along with plenty of options to wet the whistle, vibrant live music performed by talented local musicians and plenty of lively attractions spread throughout the precinct.

Guests can take part in kids’ workshops and yoga classes, or get their culture fix on with art exhibitions, cooking demonstrations and fashion shows featuring collections from popular local designer Lisa Brown.

The Gourmet Eats & Drinks hub will showcase every taste from rustic bakery treats and artisan cheese to spectacular salads, poke bowls and fresh seafood, while pop-up bars will quench festival thirsts with Aperol, Asahi and Veuve premium bubbles.

The men will love the Stone and Wood Beer Garden at Salt Café Bar, an area dedicated to ‘Beers, Beards & Beats’ with flowing craft beer, Lost Boys Barber Beard Cuts, and a mix of DJ beats all day until late.

Kid central is the Play Patch, an interactive space featuring Hurley Burley toys, face painting, a live magician and complimentary Quench ice cream.

More family fun can be found in the craft alleyway, with a colourful assortment of free creative workshops hosted by Fleurus and The Craft Parlour, including flower crown making and pom pom tote bag creations. The Craft Alleyway is licensed, allowing parents to sip on a beverage from the bar while enjoying some quality creative time with the kids.

Inside Out guests will also have the chance to win an $8000 home style pack from high-end furniture store Max Sparrow on the day.

Brickworks Centre brand manager Georgia Dal Broi said Inside Out was an opportunity for Gold Coast residents and visitors alike to discover the diverse offering of the centre.

“We invite the young and young at heart to come along to Brickworks Inside Out to experience a fascinating array of attractions and activities, as our traders join forces to present this full-day showcase, free of charge for visitors,” Ms Dal Broi said.
