‘Explosion’ leads to massive fire at Gold Coast home
One person was briefly assessed for significant facial burns, and was rushed to hospital in a serious condition.

EARLIER @ 9.30AM | Three people are being treated after an explosion a home on the northern Gold Coast, which then turned into a massive fire.
Emergency services were called to a home along Castle Rock Street in Parkwood just after 9.00am, following reports of the inferno.
Queensland Fire and Emergency Services report there was an ‘explosion’ at the property which then lead to a large blaze.
The house was ‘well involved’ on arrival, but crews were able to contain it before 9.30am.
Paramedics are on scene with two people, who are being assessed for burns.
Critical care paramedics were also on the way at the time of writing.
