Nico Rosberg has announced he is quitting Formula One after being named World Champion.
He delivered the news ahead of his coronation at the FIA’s annual prize giving ceremony to be held in Austria.
Rosberg admitted retirement was on his as far back as the Japanese Grand Prix.

But he only made a final decision a day after the title-deciding Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Rosberg claimed the first of 23 Grand Prix wins in China in 2012.
