FAD Gold Coast wins $2500 Smiles All Round Sports Club Grant for November

A local cheerleading and dance studio has won the third round of the Coastal Dental Care Smiles All Round Sports Club Grants.

FAD Gold Coast scored $2500 after securing the highest number of votes during November on the myGC.com.au website.

With approximately 400 students across four locations on the Gold Coast, Director Catherine Moane said the grant will be put to good use.

“We will be using the money to purchase some much needed new equipment, like mats and an air tumble track. We may also put some towards competition entry fees,” she told myGC.

Ms Moane said the studio was thrilled to secure the grant.

“It’s just fantastic – I didn’t think we would win. It’s amazing to think everyone who supports our studio came together to vote,” she said.

“I’d like to say a huge thank you to Coastal Dental Care for giving back to the community – it’s so wonderful and we are so appreciative.”
