A MAN and his wife and son have been attacked by a gang of teenagers who were caught rummaging through the front yard of their home in the middle of the night.
The 37-year-old man was allegedly set upon by three 16-year-old boys after catching them fooling around in the front yard of his Tatton home at Wagga Wagga, in the NSW Riverina.
It was around 11.30pm on Friday when police say the man was gang bashed by the teens after stepping outside and catching them in his yard.

It’s understood the man’s wife and 17-year-old son were also targeted as they tried to fend off the attackers.
Neighbours heard the commotion, called triple zero and raced to the family’s aid.
Paramedics were called and assessed all three family members at the scene, however, no one was taken to hospital. The man was treated for cuts and abrasions to his face, swelling and chest pain.
The three teenagers were arrested at the scene and taken to Wagga Wagga Police Station.
The trio has been charged with one count each of affray, intimidation, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
All three were remanded in custody overnight and due to appear at Parramatta Children’s Court by video link on Saturday morning.
According to the region’s leading newspaper, The Daily Advertiser, two of the three accused were granted bail after their appearance and will front Wagga Children’s Court next month.
