Family friend charged over repeated sexual assault of young girl
A man has been charged over the repeated sexual assault of a young girl in Western Australia.
Child Abuse Squad detectives arrested the 30-year-old this week following ongoing investigations.
Police say it’s alleged the man, who was a friend of the girls family, sexually assaulted her between 2011 and 2015.
At the time of the first assault she was just 10-years-old.
He has been charged with three counts of Indecent Dealing with a Child under 13 years and one count of Sexual Penetration of a Child under 13 years.
He is due to appear before the Midland Magistrates Court on 9 September.
