One of the Titan’s most popular players has been allowed to exit his contract early and join Leeds in the English Super League.
Konrad Hurrell had one year left on his contract but has been allowed to ditch the Gold Coast early.
He’ll join the Leeds Rhinos on a three-year marquee deal.

The Tongan international quickly became a fan favourite after joining the club in 2016.
He scored 115 tried in his 55 game NRL career but won over many fans with his rambunctious happy-go-lucky attitude.
Titans Chairman Dennis Watt admits it’s sad to see Hurrell leave and he’ll be sorely missed, but the club didn’t want to deny Hurrell’s wish.
“He’s been a wonderful servant for the club and the game,” Watt said.
He’s beloved by fans and we would have loved to have kept him here but we weren’t prepared to stand in his way of something he really wanted to do.”
Hurrell has thanked everyone at the club including former coach Neil Henry for bringing him to the Coast, and current coach Garth Brennan.
