There are claims the Wests Tigers are set to announce Robbie Farah will remain at the club until the end of 2017.
According to reports, the former captain will receive the full $1.9 million for playing out his NRL contract with the club.
The club may also issue an apology to their fans for the way the entire Farah saga has been handled.

Farah was given permission to look elsewhere in August despite having two years left to run on his contract before being warned he may be relegated to reserve grade if he stayed at the club.
The 31-year-old then approached the Tigers board for a release last week, which was unable to be negotiated.
