Father killed in NSW paragliding accident
A MAN has been killed in a shocking paragliding accident at Newcastle.
The 60-year-old father crashed into a cliff face at King Edward Park shortly after 2pm AEDT.
Sadly, his injuries were too severe and he could not be saved. Police confirmed he died at the scene.
It’s understood the man crashed just below the edge of the cliff and was pulled up by witnesses.
A crime scene has been established and is being examined by police who will prepare a report for the coroner.
