Fears for two Qld fishermen missing after late-night trip
Serious concerns are being held for two Queensland fishermen who have been missing for more than 24 hours.
The pair, aged 25 and 31, called their family around 10.15pm on Saturday to say that they were coming home, however they never made it.
Water police are searching for the men after their 3.3m long Stacer brand aluminium tinnie was found submerged in water in the central Moreton Bay area.
It comes after their cat and boat trailer were found abandoned at the Whyte Island Boat Ramp.
Police say they believe the men may have been fishing close to the Port of Brisbane.
Anyone with information is urged to contact police.
