Female police officer charged with domestic violence offences in NSW

A Senior Constable has been charged with domestic violence offences following an incident at a home in Sydney’s south-west.

Police say it’s alleged the 44-year-old woman threatened her 43-year-old male partner during an argument at a home at Spring Farm on Sunday 3 September.

“The incident was reported to police, who commenced an investigation,” a statement from NSW police said.

The woman was arrested about 10.00pm on Monday and taken to Narellan Police Station where she was charged with common assault (domestic violence), and intimidation (domestic violence).

The woman, who is a senior constable attached to the South West Metropolitan Region, was granted conditional bail to appear at Camden Local Court on Thursday 12 October.
