A Sydney school teacher has been taken into custody over the alleged sexual assault of a male student.
The 23-year-old woman was arrested at a home at Greenacre about 7am this morning following an investigation by detectives from the State Crime Command’s Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad.
Officers launched the investigation after receiving a tip off that a 14-year-old male student had allegedly been sexually assaulted by a female teacher while at a school in Sydney’s west.

Following the woman’s arrest this morning, detectives executed a search warrant at the home where they seized a vehicle and electronic devices.
She has since been taken to Bankstown Police Station where charges are expected to be laid.
