Fiona O’Loughlin crowned Queen Of The Jungle as Twitter reacts to runner-up Shannon Noll

Australian comedian Fiona O’Loughlin has been crowned Queen of the Jungle on I’m A Celebrity … Get Me Out of Here!

The 54-year-old took out the title over Aussie rocker Shannon Noll, who once again came in at second place…

In 2003, Nollsy came second to Guy Sebastian on the debut season of Australian Idol – a reality TV moment that’s never been forgotten.

Twitter instantly lit up with humorous comments, including one from former Idol Host Osher Gunsberg, following the announcement.

Over a tough six weeks in the jungle, Australia fell in love with Fiona’s honesty and humour – helping her take home a very well deserved $100,000 for her chosen charity, Angel Flight.

During her time in the jungle, Fiona took part in 12 Tucker Trials. She skydived out of a plane on the opening night, leapt from a hot air balloon in the trial Hot Swingers and ate a number of animal body parts and critters in various eating challenges.

“Thank you for the votes and thank you for supporting my charity Angel Flight,” an emotional  O’Loughlin said in a special video message to fans.

“I did not think six weeks ago I would be sitting here… bloody hell I just won I’m a celebrity! That’s crazy!”

World champion boxer Danny Green took out third place.
