Fire crews battling ferocious house fire at Tamborine

Half a dozen fire crews are currently on the scene of a large house fire at Tamborine.

Emergency services rushed to a home on Williamson Road just after 10.30am on Friday, following reports a house had caught alight.

A Queensland Fire and Emergency Service spokesperson told myGC that upon arrival, large amounts of smoke was issuing from the property.

Six fire trucks and three Queensland Ambulance crews are currently on scene.

All of the residents inside the home were able to evacuate themselves from the property and have managed to escape injury.

Paramedics remain on standby for fire crews.
