Fire crews called to Gold Coast hinterland school
FIREFIGHTERS rushed to a Gold Coast hinterland school on Monday morning.
Crews heading up Tamborine Mountain at 9:45am. They were called to a school on School Road after someone reported smoke pouring from a classroom.
Several students were evacuated.
An investigation failed to find any flames though, turns out it was coming from an electrical appliance.
Once the smoke clears, students will be allowed to return to the building.
