Fire destroys buildings at Adelaide school

A fire has ripped through a primary school in Adelaide, destroying two buildings.

Fire crews were called to the primary school on Shamrock Road just before 11.30pm last night.

They arrived to find smoke billowing from a building.


Metropolitan Fire Services quickly brought the blaze under control, but not before extensive damage was caused to two buildings.

Investigators are treating the blaze as suspicious.

Detectives from the Sturt CIB will attended the scene today.
