Fire engulfs Garlic Bread factory in Brisbane
More than a dozen firefighters have taken more than six hours to extinguish a blaze at a Garlic Bread factory on Brisbane’s bayside.
Firefighters were called to the Australian Garlic Bread Company at Capalaba at 2 am on Thursday, after being alerted to the blaze by an automated alarm.
It took firefighters a substantial amount of time to locate the source of the fire, which was believed to be under a rack of pallets in the cold room.
The fire was not threatening nearby businesses but sent plumes of smoke into the sky.
There were no reports of injuries.
