Sydney restaurant destroyed by fire

A fire has ripped through a restaurant in Sydney’s Inner West.

Emergency services were called to the Holden Street restaurant in Ashfield around 11.30pm on Saturday.

Firefighters arrived to find the building “well alight”.

Investigators believe the fire started in the kitchen.

The restaurant was closed at the time and no one was injured.

Police said the fire was not being treated as suspicious.
