Firefighters injured after truck rolls down hill on NSW Central Coast

 

TWO firefighters have been injured after their tanker rolled on the NSW Central Coast overnight.

Police say the Rural Fire Service truck rolled on Wisemans Ferry Road at Spencer at about 8pm.

Officers found the truck, with a number of occupants, down an embankment off the side of the road.

One of the men was taken by ambulance to Gosford Hospital for treatment to a suspected fractured collar bone.

A second man was airlifted to the Royal North Shore Hospital with suspected spinal injuries.

Investigations into the cause of the crash are continuing.
