A Gold Coast film maker and animal activist is in Hollywood trying to secure some big names to star in her latest venture.
Lynn Santer said her movie will be based on real life events featured in her book Land of the Free, published in 2009.
She said there are two female lead roles and she is in talks with Tippi Hedren, her daughter Melanie Griffith and grand daughter Dakota.

If she was able to sign on all three it would be the first time the trio had appeared together in a film.
She was more tight lipped about the male lead. She would say she had dinner with “names you would instantly recognise” who look like coming on board, adding it’s “really exciting and very positive for us”.
Lynn is a jack of all trades. She is a writer, film maker, animal activist and celebrity manager.
Her father used to travel from the UK to Africa to make David Attenborough-style documentaries and Lynn said that inspired her to get started.
She met Tippi, who owns a big cat ranch in California (both pictured below), many years ago and together the women embarked on a big adventure in 2001.
They hired some ex special forces commandos to go undercover in “Africa to get visual and documented evidence of the brutal atrocities that were being perpetrated against endangered big game by some of the wealthiest, most famous and powerful men on earth all of whom are members of this insidious group called Safari Club International”.
Just last month a group of protestors gathered in California to take a stand against the Safari Club, which convinced Zimbabwe to overturn bans on killing big game in 2001.
They paused to remember Cecil the Lion, lured out of a National Park and shot by American Dentist Walter Palmer in July.
Mr Palmer emerged from hiding overnight to say publically that he did not know that Cecil was “special”.
It is not Lynn’s first trip to the US. She was there just a few weeks ago, talking about some other films she has in development.
She managed to build on her network of supporters and even secured some additional funding.
Then during this visit Lynn caught up with Priscilla Presley (pictured below). The pair had a bite to eat at Il Cielo on Burton Way, Beverly Hills.
She said the Manager even decorated their table with rose petals, adding they were the only ones there to get the celebrity treatment.
Priscilla, once married to Elvis, is Executive Producer on two of Lynn’s film projects.
