Five debutants named in NSW Origin side
Greg Bird is the only Titans player named in the NSW State of Origin squad, just announced by coach Laurie Daley.
It’s the forward’s 16th call up for the Blues after he was forced to sit out last year’s series due to a lengthy suspension.
Five debutants have been listed in the 19-man squad for Game One against Queensland at Sydney’s ANZ Stadium on Wednesday June 1.
