Five hospitalised after two cars collide at busy Gold Coast intersection

Five people are recovering this morning, after a nasty two-car crash in Robina overnight.

Paramedics report coming across the collision at the intersection of Bermuda Street and Cottlesloe Drive just after 8.00 pm.

They assessed six people at the scene, with five needing to be taken to the hospital for further treatment.

The sixth person declined transport to the hospital.

The extent of their injuries has not been confirmed, but all patients are in stable conditions at the Gold Coast University Hospital.
