Five hospitalised after explosion at Brisbane festival
FIVE people have been rushed to hospital with burns following an explosion at a fete on Brisbane’s southside.
Early reports suggest a gas bottle exploded at a Taiwan Festival in Sunnybank Hills shortly before 10am.
Two people have been rushed to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital with severe burns.
Three others have been transported to the Prince Alfred with less serious burns.
