Five hospitalised following separate crashes on Gold Coast

It’s been a busy night for paramedics, following a number of crashes on Gold Coast roads.

The first accident happened just before 7.00pm on Friday, when two cars collided on Ferny Avenue in Surfers Paradise.

Three people were treated at the scene for minor injuries before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in stable conditions.


About four hours later, emergency services were called to Upper Coomera following reports a car had rolled.

Fire crews were tasked to the scene to help free the female driver who was trapped in the vehicle.

Thankfully she was taken to the Uni Hospital in a stable condition.

Around the same time, a car crashed into a tree on Santa Isobel Boulevard in Pacific Pines.

A man suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital in a stable condition.
