Five in court charged over Surfers Paradise stabbing murder

Five people charged over the stabbing death of a young father in Surfers Paradise last month are due to return to court today.

Raymond Harris was allegedly stabbed in the torso during a confrontation between two groups in Cavill Avenue around 9pm on Wednesday September 23.

The 27-year-old was rushed to the Gold Coast University Hospital, but died a short time later.

Jye Sebastian Webb-Italia, 18, Jarod James Miller, 21, and Kyle Jack Webb, 24, have each been charged with count of murder

While Amy Anne Ackerman, 19, and Zaynn Stevannes Bekker, 32, have both been charged with accessory after the fact to murder.

All five will appear in the Southport Magistrates Court on Thursday.
