Five teens arrested over stolen car chase
Five teens have been arrested after leading Police on a chase in a stolen car from Logan to the Gold Coast.
Officers first spotted the stolen car in Crestmead around 11.30pm on Saturday night.
It was tracked to Yatala with the help of Polair before tyre spikes were deployed.
The teens abandoned the vehicle on Henry Hester Drive before escaping on foot.
The Dog Squad was called in to help locate them before the teens were rounded up a short time later.
The five 14-year-olds were taken into custody and are all expected to be charged with unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
Should never be allowed to hold a license.
Need to send a message to young people that there are ramifications to their actions.
Same with hoons who tear up local streets, crush their cars.
