FLOOD CRISIS: How and where you can donate much-needed supplies and funds on the Gold Coast
Many communities across Southeast Queensland and Northern New South Wales have been left devastated by the flood crisis.
There are numerous ways Gold Coasters can help those who have been affected, including donating much-needed supplies and/or funds.
Here’s where you can donate:
Baby Give Back
What they need: Nappies, formula, wipes, baby food, bottled water, toilet paper, sanitary products, body wash/soap, shampoo & conditioner, new face washers, new towels, cleaning products, sunscreen.

What to donate: Toiletries and hygiene products, bottled water, toilet paper, non-perishable food, nappies, pet food and pet bedding, brand new underwear, socks and bras, cleaning products (gloves, garbage bags, disinfectant, cloths, scrubbing brushes, Jiff or similar etc), footwear (clean and in good to excellent condition).

Australia Fair
Australia Fair has partnered again with Share the Dignity for their Dignity Donation Drive for the month of March. Now more than ever we are seeking donations given the current flood crisis.
What to donate: Sanitary items such as pads, tampons, and personal hygiene products.
Where to drop off: Australia Fair have two pink donation boxes located outside Coles and Woolworths.
GIVIT
GIVIT is managing offers of donated goods, services, volunteering and funds, including corporate offers. GIVIT allows users to match donations with the specific requests of those impacted by the floods, from grocery and cleaning vouchers to white goods and spare clothes.

Australian Red Cross
Donations to the Qld and NSW Floods Appeal will help Red Cross to provide vital humanitarian support to the people and communities affected by the floods, including enabling volunteers and staff to help with evacuation and relief centres and outreach service and supporting people and communities to recover and to build resilience to disasters.

Foodbank Queensland
Foodbank Queensland’s flood appeal is accepting funds to cover food, water, freight and resources to deliver to the hardest hit areas impacted by the floods. Donations can provide money for groceries, reducing hunger and removing a major stress for families.
