Supermarket giant ALDI has issued an urgent recall for a popular ice-cream sold in several states.
The Indulge Butterscotch Pear Gourmet Ice Cream (1 Litre) has been pulled from freezers due to incorrect allergy information.
“The recall is due to the presence of an undeclared allergen (peanut) due to use of incorrect packaging,” the recall notice said.

“Any consumers who have a peanut allergy or intolerance may have a reaction if the product is consumed”.
The ice-cream, which has a best before date of 09/05/2023, has been available for sale at ALDI stores in QLD, NSW and the ACT.
Anyone with a peanut allergy or intolerance is being told not to consume the product and to return it to any ALDI store for a full refund.
