Footy Show star Beau Ryan makes terminally ill woman’s dream come true after Facebook plea

Footy Show host Beau Ryan has rushed to the hospital bedside of a terminally ill fan after her friend posted a desperate plea to Facebook.

“URGENT REQUEST!!! Any assistance to boost my friend up? She is currently in Prince of Wales hospital and has roughly 4 hours to live as she’s fighting cancer,” Mahali Murphy wrote on the social media site.

She wants Greg Inglis or Beau Ryan to come see her. If everyone can share this or get in contact for me this would be much appreciated.”

Just an hour later, Ryan saw the post and had replied stating that he was on his way.

“Leaving Shellharbour now! See you in two hours. Tell her to stay strong,” the former NRL player wrote.

An image of Ryan and 22-year-old Sydney woman Kia Lettice meeting for the first time was posted on the footy star’s Facebook page where it has since gone viral.

“Legend mate!!!!! Top effort buddy, she is beautiful and the smile on her face says it all ?? You have made her day,” one person commented.

“You are a legend Beau bought me to tears reading the story on Kia and how she wished to meet her heroes and for you to drop everything you had planned to spend with her in her last moments shows the kind of man you are inside and out its good to know people like you still exist in the world we live in today,” wrote another.
