Forklift used in GC ram raid

The hunt is on for thieves on the Gold Coast who used a forklift to ram-raid a wakeboard and waterski business at Carrara overnight.

Around 11.10pm thieves cut through a fence at the business at Eastlake Street.

A forklift at the business was then used to smash through a roller door to get inside.

It is believed only cash was stolen from the premises.

Police said the forklift was again used to smash a glass window of a neighbouring excavation business but nothing was stolen.

It’s believed the men were driving a black sedan.
